I generally complete a free of charge, 20-minute Zoom consultation to make sure I am a good fit for you, and that I have the experience, training, and skills to treat whatever it is you are seeking help for.  I very much recommend that you read through this website and come to this complimentary consultation with any questions you might have for me.

A few logistical things that might be helpful to know before you book a session or a consultation:

• Consultation appointments are generally scheduled on Tuesdays or Saturdays.

• All sessions are held online, over an encrypted Zoom connection, or by telephone (with established clients only).

• Individual sessions are 50-minutes. Extended sessions (100- minutes) are available and recommended for couple and family work.

• Initially, clients are typically seen on a weekly basis  and many move to less frequent sessions as time progresses. 

• Client sessions are scheduled with consistency in mind; your time and day each week is reserved just for you. 

• I schedule clients on  Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.  Tuesdays are available for emergency sessions only. 

• Clients will be invited to complete necessary intake paperwork within an encrypted client portal. 

• I  will provide as much advance notice as possible if I need to cancel or reschedule a session, and I ask for the same courtesy.  My cancellation policy and request is 24-hours for missed appointments that are not related to emergencies or illness.  A fee applies.

• I take Thursdays and Fridays as technology free and may not be available until Friday.

• If you are in crisis, it is essential that you maintain your own safety;  contact 911 , your doctor, or go to the emergency room immediately.   See client resource list for additional resources.

• I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider.

• I am able to provide a quarterly superbill for clients to submit to their insurance carrier, however I am unable to assure you that you will receive reimbursement for my services.

• I accept credit cards through the encrypted  client portal. Other payment options are possible for established clients.

• I believe that cost should not be a barrier to mental healthcare services. For those experiencing financial hardship or with economic limitations, I have a limited number of sliding scale openings. If I do not have any sliding scale openings at the time when you are seeking services, I will be happy to attempt to connect you with other affordable mental healthcare options.

• On January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act went into effect. This law is intended to provide uninsured and self-pay clients and patients a good faith estimate (GFE) of the predicted cost of services.  All therapy fees are listed above.

  • The length of treatment  for any client will depend upon what each client wants to address in therapy,  the number and frequency of sessions, availability of sessions, client finances ,life events,  and any number of other variables. 

  • You have a right to receive a GFE for the total anticipated cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You will receive a GFE with your intake paperwork.

• Administrative fees, report writing, consultative services,  appearances  for court proceedings, etc. are billed at a different rate and will be presented in the Client Services Contract within the client portal.

10-hour Package:

10, 60-minutes sessions, (with proration to 30-minutes) - $1500

20-hour Package:

20, 60-minutes sessions, (with proration to 30-minutes) - $2800
